WHEN We are open

We are currently closed for refurbishment after successfully securing a grant from the Lottery's Heritage Fund. The Museum will re-open in the autumn of 2019 and new opening days and times will be available shortly.

Museum entry is free of charge although donations are always very much appreciated.

We are located in the Old Post Office in Penmaenmawr town centre just opposite the old Mountain View Hotel where Conway Old Road meets Bangor Road.

There is a free car park on Fernbrook Road and is a short walk from the museum.

Penmaenmawr is served by the 5 and X5 bus services from Llandudno and Bangor with a bus every 15 minutes to/from both directions during the day (with a reduced service on Sundays). The museum is a couple of hundred yards from the nearest bus stop, opposite the Spar shop.

Penmaenmawr Railway Station is on the Chester to Holyhead main line and is served by about a dozen trains a day in either direction. The station is at the bottom of Paradise Road hill and is a five minute walk from the museum.

There is parking within a short distance of the museum for Blue Badge holders.
Exhibitions and amenities on the ground floor and are fully accessible to wheelchair users.
Assistance dogs are allowed in all public areas.
