Penmaenmawr Museum Quarry Coach Trip

A fascinating guided coach trip to Penmaenmawr Quarry where you’ll explore the history of quarrying on the uplands. Cost £15 per ticket. Booking essential – book here.

 

WALKS

 

During the summer, the museum organises a programme of guided heritage walks around Penmaenmawr.

Lowland walks are free to join and family-friendly, but donations to help with our insurance costs are always welcome. You can find details of our next lowland walk below.

There is a fee for the upland walks. Please see the information below.

 

Upland Walks

It has long been our ambition to work in partnership with a professional walk leader to develop a programme of upland history walks as a paid service that will contribute to the running costs of the museum. This year, this ambition has come to fruition and we have partnered with one of our members, Sean Gavin, to put together a programme of six mountain walks. As well as being a professional mountain walk leader, Sean formerly worked as a history teacher and he has a passion for the local landscape and heritage.

 

The guided walks are £25 per person. We have created a 10% discount code for Friends of Penmaenmawr Museum. The next guided walk in our upland programme is shown below.

For your general information, talks are held at Penmaenmawr Community Centre and entry costs £4.00 (free for Friends of Penmaenmawr Museum).
