become a Volunteer

Penmaenmawr Historical Society & Museum is run entirely by volunteers in their free time. If you are local to the area, interested in the history of Penmaenmawr, Penmaenan, Capelulo and Dwygyfylchi and surrounding areas, Northern Snowdonia (the Carneddau), and would like to get involved in helping develop our museum, why not become a volunteer?

We are a friendly and active group of mainly local people with a combined vast store of knowledge of the area. Come and join us and find out more. Volunteers give some of their time in a great variety of roles. From meeting and greeting visitors, maintaining our archive, leading walks, arranging exhibitions, to managing the organisation (office work, cleaning, provisioning, etc.) and monitoring/recording the condition of the building, etc. There is plenty to do to suit all skills and needs, and we provide training periodically.

Just send us a message at and we will get in touch with you.
